More About Me

Hello again! I’m Suhani.

I think I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember. I was the kid who would sit and draw for no particular reason, get excited about pretty colours especially that one Faber-Castell bi-colour pencil in deep pink and ultramarine violet I was weirdly attached to and spend way too much time noticing little details. I still do that, just with slightly more expensive software now.

Growing up in Jammu, I became very attached to the things that felt like home ; the mountains, the food, the stories, and the little pieces of Dogri culture I’m still learning to appreciate.

Outside of design, I spend an embarrassing amount of time watching K-dramas, listening to K-pop, reading romance novels, painting, or stopping to look at a cat on the street. And I’ll choose rajma chawal over most things without thinking twice.

Somewhere along the way, all of these things started finding their way into my work. That’s what led me to explore graphic design, branding, illustration, UI/UX and digital experiences; taking the stories, places, music and little details I notice and turning them into something of my own.

I’m still figuring out exactly what kind of designer I want to be, and I’m enjoying the process of finding out.
